Primal Rage Version X.0
Welcome to the Primal Rage Version X.0 information page. This is a ROM hack aiming to add new functionality to Primal Rage such as new options and brand new codes and combos. The project aims to bring higher functionality and increase the amount of customizability by the player in the game. Such as allowing the player to choose if they want to play with certain functionality in the game on or off. An example being the Rage Modes which are only available in 2 player mode being available throughout the entire game or turned off completely and a joke option such as MAT2 Sauron, which is being able to play as the most broken of Sauron ever!
The following is the change log for the very first revision of Primal Rage Version X.0, this change log will be replaced with the most recent version of the changelog, with a full changelog for all versions found in the ReadMe inside of the downloaded ZIP file.
- Changed how the damage modifier works, more health is lost in general.
- Block damage hurts more and can kill you now.
- Changed how eating humans work, if not at full health the human will fly away, if at full health the human will be eaten and removed from the tribe.
- Added in the Team Rage X Credits screen after the High Scores table in attract mode.
- Created the button combo to skip to the Team Rage X Credits on the attract mode. Hold High Fierce (Button 2) on both Player 1 and 2 to forcefully view the Team Rage X Credits.
- Added in a preliminary Rage X Options menu in the test menu, don't touch any options since it can mess up and cause errors in the NVRAM, it isn't coded either, so nothing works in this menu.
- Made the Debug Options visible at the bottom of the test menu.
- Changed the attract mode text to display that the hack created by Team Rage X as well as the official website for this hack
- Changed the final battle end text.
- Vertigo hisses when the game turns on instead of Sauron roaring.
- Added a slight curvature to The Dino Graveyard.
